Domestic Violence Forget What You Think You Know

I have been a huge fan of Johnny Depp every since he starred on the television show 21 Jump Street. He is quite an attractive man. Not too long ago I wrote a post about domestic violence. However Johnny Depp doesn’t come to mind it just goes to show we never know who could be an abuser. His wife has gotten a restraining order and has shared pictures of the bruises on her face. I admit that I’m a person who is inquisitive so I have many questions pertaining to this situation. How long has Johnny Depp been an abuser? He offered his wife money to be quiet about the abuse. How will the public receive this news? I know it’s his private life but it definitely gets us to raise our awareness. Will he be treated like Chris Brown? The public was outraged about his abuse against Rhianna could it be people were more upset about Rhianna being harm. All I know is it will be very interesting to see how things are over the next couple of weeks.

All jokes aside I can’t get Edward Scissorhands and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory out of my head.What makes Johnny Depp go off? I know that he recently loss his mother. Now in no way am I making up excuses but I feel in order to change a situation we must understand it. When a person hit another person it’s just not good to stay. I’m praying for his wife, everyone who has been abuse and the abusers. It must stop. Prayers going up for all of the hurt people in the world. Abuse is never okay no matter if the person is famous, good looking, poor, rich, man or woman.

 

A Christian Man Is That You?

First off a Christian man should look nothing like a man of the world. He is destined to be the head of his family and thus behave that way before it happening. I know some are saying, “Hold up, Tameeka what exactly do you mean?” Well, I am going to explain what I mean a true man of God can do many things yet understands that he should Not do them all.

He has self-control is a counselor, prayer warrior, and encourager. He always wants to be the man that God has called him to be. He is aware that there are young men who are watching him. He doesn’t take his walk with Christ lightly and is mindful that he may be the only Bible that some people reads. He doesn’t makeup excuses for what he does or hides behind grace as a way to get away with things. He takes a tally of what he is doing and matches it to what God wants. He’s continuously evaluating himself he desires to be the best man of God that he possibly can be. He treats people like how he would like to be treated.

People will flock to him for advice, prayer, encouragement, and inspiration. He never takes advantage of people, especially women. He lets a woman know where she stands the word games is not a part of his vocabulary. When he sees a marriage that’s in trouble, he sees it as an opportunity to pray for the couple and doesn’t try to prey on the wife. He has boundaries in place so that there are no misunderstandings. He never wants a fellow brother to feel any hurt caused by him. He knows when he can help and when it’s God’s job. He is very responsible never plays fast and loose he doesn’t use a woman. He doesn’t put anyone down but lifts them. A man of the world and a man of God only has one thing in common when it comes to women. They both realize at the time of meeting a woman whether she has the potential of being his wife. In a Man of God relationship, he doesn’t go tic for tac he knows that a real man doesn’t behave like that. He gives his all in his relationship. He has left no backdoors open with any other woman he knows that he is better than that. A man of God understands that the right matches don’t have to be tested he trust that God is in it. If for some reason a relationship doesn’t work out, and he finds that the woman isn’t the right fit he lets her go so that she can find the right man of God to commit to. He doesn’t walk around angry with grudges or a heart of revenge he thanks God for every life lesson. His mission with God’s help is to leave a lasting impression of positivity on every person that he meets.

This is not bashing it’s giving a lot of  Men of God credit I know many this is a checklist. Are you all of these things, or is it merely a bucket list. A man of God is held with the highest regards if you can’t uphold it then lose the Christian label. The word  Christian should not be treat as a bumper sticker but more like a tattoo. Be an ambassador for Christ as a man; make sure that you do it right. How can a Christian man be a leader when he can’t get minor things together? If it’s too much of responsibility  back away until you are ready. One can not have one foot in the world and the other with Christ. Understand that things aren’t all about you and that your actions can effect someone else’s life. Walk right.

It Is On

Okay Okay I absolutely cannot stand it. Some of you black men are going overboard with your hate against black women. What exactly is the deal? I can’t fathom what it could be. Some of you categorize all black women into one claiming that we all aren’t crap. Then you wonder why black women have zero respect for you.

I seen a video that was so disgusting. I would share but it’s not worth it for several reasons. One the language in it was way too foul, it disrespected a woman’s child directly and I don’t want to help it earn money. My whole goal is to shed some light on this situation. It’s not drama it’s raising awareness. The madness most stop I mean you guys do know where you came from right? A black woman birth you into this world.

I plan on discussing this topic every chance that I get. Anyway the guy who made the video to take shots at a beautiful lady on YouTube Christelyn. She promotes swirling which is black women and white men interracial dating. Through I do not know her personally I sent her an email and she responded back promptly. She really does care about people.It’s so disappointing to see some black men bashing her on a daily basis. I wish people would allow this lady to do what she wants it’s not hurting anyone. To be honest I think because she’s successful the men who attack her are jealous. Whatelse could it be? She’s doesn’t wear wigs or weave so they can’t make the claim that she’s trying to be white although I feel that that has nothing to do with how black that a person is.

Look we as black people don’t have to love or like each other still we should respect one another. A black man is someone’s son, father, brother, cousin or grandson. Just like a black woman is someone’s daughter, mother, sister, cousin or granddaughter. We are all valuable to somebody one life touches another. I am not into bashing I believe in meeting people where they are. Still I will not lie the bashing that’s going on between black women and black men at times it bothers me. It’s deeper than black people who choose to date interracially there is some deep seeded hate and I am trying to figure out where it came from.

Are there some black people who could be doing better yes but it doesn’t mean they never will do better either. It’s just way too much finger pointing and too many negative people are spreading their poison around. With not one person taking ownership of what they should be doing.We have to do better it’s a must. I don’t care about how many times I write about it if it will help to push us into the direction of positivity.

Where is it written that if you are black that you must date black only? Just like why and how do people reach the conclusion that people who date outside of their race must hate their own race. Love is an energy people. When souls connect the person’s color is not involved. Love has no color everyone is entitled to love who they want as long as it’s within God will. Love is beyond black love or interracial love. God is in control. What is destined to be will be whether we like it or not.

It’s time to promote love and respect letting go of the hate that is going on between our black brothers and sisters. The generation behind us are watching us we have to get it together.

 

 

Playing Detective

The other day I convicted myself I wondered what it is about me that I instantly turn into a detective. Why I just can not accept things at face value? I guess with everything that I have been through I simply can not help it. Especially when it comes to opening myself up to love again. I don’t want to risk my heart being broken or looking like a fool.

Not trying to make myself seem so special but I always come across people who try to make it their mission to prove who I am really, I’m liked” Really Bro how would you know me better than I know myself?” One thing about me I am very kind hearted and so that makes me an easy target.  People tend to take my kindness for weakness. I know that I am God’s creation therefore I am under His protection. No matter what happens I won’t change who I am because of people.

I will admit that I have trust issues at one point in life I didn’t want to. Admitting to having trust issues sparks characteristics within a person that they never knew existed. Let me explain further I do not believe it’s okay to go through a person’s things, have passwords etc if a person needs to do all of that then perhaps it’s best to end the relationship. My trust issues are with my heart and words whether a man is being genuine or not.

The one only that I have learned noone can convince a person not to hurt you if they want to justify why it’s okay to do so. Just pray that they are exposed for what and who they are to avoid unnecessary heartbreak.

A person who won’t be alone to heal is selfish Yeah I said it. It’s not cool to use a person to help you get over pain that’s not okay. For me I am willing to be alone as long as God sees fit I WOULD NEVER inflict any pain on someone else. God doesn’t like ugly and He does make people pay for their messed up way. No I am not trying to speak negativity on people still one can not treat a person wrong expect not to be punished for their behavior.

My hopes are for us all to find love with the right one and as far as for me playing detective I never will stop doing it. Nothing is going overboard when it comes to heartbreak I rather be alone. I know that God has my Boaz even if it takes a couple more years of waiting I will. Because I know that once my Boaz arrive I will never have to play detective again. All of my Boaz words will match I won’t have an uneasy feeling about him. He will do everything not to break my heart. I won’t make him feel uncomfortable because of doubt. Let’s face it a seed of doubt has the power to grow into the biggest oak tree.

Determined to not allow doubt to rob me of my Boaz or loneliness for that matter. Being lonely is the reason for a lot of bad relationships people aren’t patient enough to wait on God. Word to the wise you can’t be with the right one if you are with the wrong one. Mr. Or Mrs. Right now will ruin who you are truly destined to be with. The right one will not interrupt what you have no one can see if you are unhappy they just know that you are unavailable. I don’t know about anyone else I know that we are worth the wait.

 

 

What A Christian Must Do

Number one a Christian must never forget about what lead them to their faith. I truly believe that it will help us to remain humble on our walk with Christ. Many times it was a tragedy that lead to a Christian’s choice and No I am not asking for anyone to live in condemnation or go back to where God delivered them from. But don’t looked down on anyone because of their struggles. We can all fall.

No matter what my fellow Christian sisters or brothers go through I will not judge them I refuse. When others walk out I will walk in and stay. This may sound crazy to some people but I believe when we see others going through a struggle that we are being tested too. Let me tell you why two reasons one it shows our character during a person’s time of need. It isn’t about the person it’s about how we choose to be. Second are looking at the person or are we looking to God. We can’t have part-time faith we all know how great God is and He always see everyone of us through. Therefore we must pray for understanding and the strength to help our fellow sisters and brothers according how God sees fit. We just have to allow Him to guide us and He will.

I realize that at times the only thing that we can do is pray. If praying is what we must do than we must do it as much as possible. Much prayer Much power, Some prayer Some power No prayer No power. Let’s encourage one another, be there for one and love one another at all times.

 

A Christian Wife Duties

We always hear what I husband must do and what he must not do. A wife have obligations to making sure that her marriage is successful. God is number He is the glue that holds things together. Still like everything including our relationship with God takes work. In a marriage if both husband and wife understand their roles in a marriage the marriage can be a masterpiece without a doubt. During the hardest times in a marriage is when you have to love your spouse harder it’s important to not give up on them. God can and will give you more strength just ask for it.

Nothing grinds my gears more than a person’s love for money. Money this money that. See when a person is like that one can never have enough of it. Take the money away and what are you left with. The value of our American dollar is losing it’s value. I just pray for people who’s minds are clouded with dollar signs.

Most times when people love money so much they can not and do not have love for anything else. When a person is sick in a hospital bed money is the last thing that they are thinking about. Sooner or later everyone is going to die and we can’t take the money with us.

Money can not buy everything. Many times when people talk about money so much they actually are trying to compensate for something else that they are missing. I once heard a story about a guy who loved money so much nothing else mattered not his wife or his kids. One day he asked his wife if she felt loved by him and she told him no. He replied “Why not I have bought you so many things how could you not know how much that I love you?” Money can’t buy love. He had no clue at all.

People will throw money around as a way to try to impress others then they get upset when that’s all people want from them. For me I don’t have to be rich to be happy money doesn’t control me. I thirst for the love from God almighty He will give me all my children and I need. Greed doesn’t hold a place with me. The best things in life are free yet they are priceless. It’s something to think about.

1 Timothy 6:10

For the love of money is root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
