How Far Are You Willing To Go?

When I think of love

So many things comes to my mind

A gentleman and a lady

Who are in real love, true love

Together pushing against the odds

Like a sail in the wind or a kite

Fighting to keep their love strong

They are ready to do anything

Knowing that they were meant to be

When they argue there are no ego

They have in mind if they separate

They both lose so its never about

Winning unless it’s together

There’s no team in I but in us

The real test in love

Is how far are you willing to go

When I say you it means both people

Involved doing their part

To keep what they have

It takes a person working on

Themselves individually

So they do mess up

So how far are you willing to go

To show your other half

How much that you love them

Do you have a limit

Do you care more about what outsiders

Think about your relationship

Do you love the person for

Who they are

Or it for what they do or what they have

Are there motives involved

What happens when they cannot

Do what they use to

Would that be the end for you

What happens when they age

Or they get sick

Will you stick

Will your love be the same

Or will it fade

Can you answer these

Questions honestly and openly

If your answers to these questions

Support keeping your relationship

Then you have answered my

Question of

Men Have Feelings Too

One thing that I am instilled

Into my sons minds early

It’s healthy to say how you feel

Whether it’s sad,mad,or glad

It’s doesn’t make a man less than

A man because he’s in touch

With his feelings

Keeping feelings bottled up

Is not good at all

Women and men are both human

We require the same things to live

Food, water, air, love etc

The problem is when men

Were boys they were taught

That their feels were to be surpressed

They’re told all during their boyhood

Not to cry but to be a man

But once we are women

We expect them to express

What they can’t

It makes no sense

It’s not the right way

If a man feels some type of

Way then he should say it.

Without any delay

We speak of maturity

And the way that men act

When in fact we helped to

Contribute to that

Men being numb and cold

Yet we want them to step into

The loving nuturing husband role

Allow boys to express their feelings

Early and what amazing

Men they will grow to be

The mentality of men

Who show emotions are wimps

Logic must be ripped away

Christ even weap if He can

Do it so can everyone else

We all need to get a clue

And admit the truth

These dudes I swear they have no clue

To have success but please

Give it rest

Like you are obsessed

No matter how much that you have

There’s still many things

That it can not buy

Like your way into Heaven

However with the way that some of you

Are acting it’ll definitely get you in

You can fool yourself all you want

But there is an after this

The biggest mistake

That we all make

Is feel that it’s okay

To put off things until tomorrow

What can be done today

Should be

Don’t procrastinate

Don’t wait

Stop thinking

Knows what’s down the line

We have to stop

Taking things for granted

Like our loves ones

We get into a fight

We hide

We get an ego

We won’t let the anger go

We plan on speaking

We can’t hold on to both

People views are always

Changing it’s just too much

To try to keep up

It requires too much focus

People’s opinions holds no value

Why stress behind words

If we have people who constantly

Talk about our past then

That’s where they belong

So blast to the present

And prepare for the future

Don’t need people on our team

Who keeps a tally our faults

But when it comes to them

The pen doesn’t work

I like to compare

A brand new relationship

To a brand new car

When a car is new

You wash and wax it

Very careful how you drive it

You don’t want to eat in it

Don’t want nobody parking near it

All because you don’t want

Anything to ruin the newness

As time goes by you

Become comfortable

To eat in it

And you don’t wash or wax it as much

Slack up doing the things

That you use to

Don’t take it in to check

To see if it needs repair

Unless you see or hear

A sign of trouble

Otherwise you only

Take it in once a year

For an inspection

Everything is wonderful

It was given lots of attention

Well a relationship/ marriage

Can be looked at the same way

Bumps and dents happen

Faith

Faith is our muscle

That we must flex

At our worse times not our best

We must use it

To strengthen it

Tragedies will sometimes come

That may bring tears with fears

But this is when we have

And eyes filled with tears

One thing is clear

God is with us

Only faith can do that
