Dreaming Of You

My dreams are like a

Beautiful getaway to Spain

I day dream of being swept away

On the wings of a beautiful dove

You are the only one

Whom I want to dream of

I dream just so

I can see your face

Don’t have to count sheep

All I have to do is close

My eyes and I drift off

To sleep very quickly

Your  face is tattooed in my mind

So you are not hard to visualize

When I close my brown eyes

I will be dreaming of you tonight

In this dream I will be

Holding you close

Like a bear hug

Never wanting to let you go

You are in my heart

Whether I am dreaming

Or wide awake

Every dream that I have

Of you the settings

Are always in a different place

A beach, a park, Paris

In my dreams we talk

We are happy and smiling

Then for some reason

I begin to worry

Probably because I sense

That I soon will be awake

Then you whisper to me

That it’s okay

That you won’t be away

For too long

Night time will come quickly

Then I  will be back to sleep

So I dream

Poetry

I would absolutely love to have the talent of Maya Angelou, Emily Dickinson and William Shakespeare to name a few. Growing up I always enjoyed writing my mother inspired me she wrote things for her church when she was young. For me writing is a way to express all of my feelings and poetry helps me to do it in a creative way. Someone asked me what type of writing style do I have that was an excellent question too I guess that I never really thought about it. My poetry style could probably be more of a sonnet. I pretty much write about everything. So loving the month of April it is national poetry month everyday I write hoping to become better with each word. I have notebooks all over the place. Working on a couple of poems right now stay tuned I will be sharing them very soon.

How Far Are You Willing To Go?

When I think of love

So many things comes to my mind

A gentleman and a lady

Who are in real love, true love

Together pushing against the odds

Like a sail in the wind or a kite

Fighting to keep their love strong

They are ready to do anything

Knowing that they were meant to be

When they argue there are no ego

They have in mind if they separate

They both lose so its never about

Winning unless it’s together

There’s no team in I but in us

The real test in love

Is how far are you willing to go

When I say you it means both people

Involved doing their part

To keep what they have

It takes a person working on

Themselves individually

So they do mess up

So how far are you willing to go

To show your other half

How much that you love them

Do you have a limit

Do you care more about what outsiders

Think about your relationship

Do you love the person for

Who they are

Or it for what they do or what they have

Are there motives involved

What happens when they cannot

Do what they use to

Would that be the end for you

What happens when they age

Or they get sick

Will you stick

Will your love be the same

Or will it fade

Can you answer these

Questions honestly and openly

If your answers to these questions

Support keeping your relationship

Then you have answered my

Question of

Just Be Happy

A young lady that I have been knowing every since she was a teenager got married yesterday. I was happy for her she came from a long way. She truly deserves all the happiness that her heart can hold. The wedding brought up some things that was still inside of me.They were things that were apparently lying dormant. I struck out with my first marriage my plan when I got married was to be married for life. Unfortunately it didn’t turn out that way and guess what it’s okay. We live and learn. I’m glad that I learned it would have been horrible to not gain anything at all from the experience. She’s an awesome person truly. It was amazing seeing her as a bride I still keep seeing her as a teenager. What a gorgeous bride that she was. Simply beautiful.

If I could give her some advice about ways to keeping her marriage solid. The number one thing I would tell her would be to keep God first. Also keeping the line communication open all the time never make your husband feel like he cannot talk to you. That out of everyone that’s in his life the wife is the one he should feel comfortable with the must. Never allow outsiders to interfere within your marriage there’s nothing that cannot  be worked out just have to have the want to. To make everyday feel like your wedding day.  The list could go on forever mainly work on your marriage daily because it’s a team effort. Never give up on the one who you truly love. Always make your hubby feel like a king because that’s what queens do. Anything worth having is worth fighting for. Enjoy the destiny that you two will have together. Just Be Happy.

Men Have Feelings Too

One thing that I am instilled

Into my sons minds early

It’s healthy to say how you feel

Whether it’s sad,mad,or glad

It’s doesn’t make a man less than

A man because he’s in touch

With his feelings

Keeping feelings bottled up

Is not good at all

Women and men are both human

We require the same things to live

Food, water, air, love etc

The problem is when men

Were boys they were taught

That their feels were to be surpressed

They’re told all during their boyhood

Not to cry but to be a man

But once we are women

We expect them to express

What they can’t

It makes no sense

It’s not the right way

If a man feels some type of

Way then he should say it.

Without any delay

We speak of maturity

And the way that men act

When in fact we helped to

Contribute to that

Men being numb and cold

Yet we want them to step into

The loving nuturing husband role

Allow boys to express their feelings

Early and what amazing

Men they will grow to be

The mentality of men

Who show emotions are wimps

Logic must be ripped away

Christ even weap if He can

Do it so can everyone else

We all need to get a clue

And admit the truth

Men have feelings too

Who became wife and husband

A perfect union

The beginning of a great book

Begins with two sentences

That’s part of the first paragraph

To the journey of a new path

Consisting of late night laughs

Beach walks

Endless hours of long talks

Treasuring one another thoughts

King James Bible taught churches

Memorable memories

Being made everyday

That you will never want to forget

Always thanking God that you met

The power of two

The Bible says

When two or more are gathered

There He will be in the mist of them

Two power of two

Two colors mixed together

Becomes another

What therefore God hath

Joined together

Hey It’s Okay To Be Straight

I’m going to cover everything on my blog and that includes things that other people maybe scared to talk about. Many people are scared to talked about certain things because they fear the backlash that comes. I’m not. God says to Fear Not! I don’t hate gay people however I love being straight.

Starting Over

As I have shared I’m starting over in love. I have never dated a guy like go out on several dates. My belief as a Christian woman when a man finds a woman he finds a good thing. That’s what the Bible says and it has not lead me wrong. The internet makes it easy to socialize with others and it also makes it easy for people to get preyed upon. You have to be very careful. There was just a story pertaining to a mother of three being killed by a man that she met online. So sad three children without a mother my heart goes out to them.

First let’s get this understood crazy people are online but you are safe. Crazy people comes in all races, sexes and sizes just wanted to make that clear.You’re not safe when you are offline in the company of a stranger. Not being negative let’s look at things on the bright side everyone in our lives besides family were once strangers. On the other hand you can think that you know a person all of their lives and find out that you really didn’t. In life you take chances but be safe about them. There are people who love us and need us. Let’s try to be here for them as long as we can.

Starting over can be scary especially when it comes to a stubborn person like myself. I absolutely hate change but I have gotten a lot better over the years. I’m open to what way God may send me my Boaz. Patience is a virtue I believe this truly. No crossed fingers just trusting the Lord. Check out these ideas when going out on a date:

What I Have Learned

I decided to start a blog and I have done some audio as well. This is my first time ever doing these things. Just wanted to do something different add some more coolness to my life’s resume while inspiring as many people as I can.With starting anything new you will have people being positive and people being negative. I am not going to say embrace positive words only we have to be open to constructive criticism. The more that we know the more we grow.  Anything different people have to adjust to it but we can’t allow it to let go of what we are passionate about.

We must be selective of how much that we choose to take in. Too much negative words isn’t good either. We may have to resort to treating people who are always negative like static in a radio just straighten the antenna to hear what we need to hear crystal clear.

Blog- a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style.

Blogging is something that caught my eye I enjoy writing and sharing my views. How much of anyone’s opinion do I need? I’ll answer the question. It’s none. However  anyone whom I trust truly opinion I value so I will listen. I do want my blog to grow  and it will eventually. What I am going to do is continue what I am doing as well as a whole lot more. I’m proud of my blog and I’m not planning on stopping anytime soon.
