Is under the protection
Of Ephesians 6

Agape love is the highest
Form of love

What a blessing it is to want
To love another human
With that kind of love
It is a love that forgives
Understands, uplifts, and extends immeasurable grace
It’s wanting to face
A vast sea of trouble together
Some couples see other couples
And call them goals without knowing
The full history of the relationship
Not me I want my very own testimony
For God’s Glory
The truth is we are all imperfect people
Who try to connect and want to become one
With another imperfect person
All we have to do is be faithful
At not reflecting on the wrongs
But keeping track of what they do right
And let them know it
To still want to fight even through the hurt
To be the wall that bridges the gap
Even when it feels like
It has just a single brick
It’s Hosea to the highest
It’s loving a person through it all
It’s choosing them over and over again
Even if you had the chance to do different
To not give in to throwing in the towel
And making up excuses to do it

How their actions display the kind of love

For the Time That We Are Here

Lit a candle in remembrance
Of all the people
Who passed away
Someone’s best friend
Someone’s wife or husband

The pain of loss

The realization

By having a relationship with Jesus Christ

By getting life insurance

And all of these things are great
Regardless of what people

Life is precious
It should not be spent
Wasting time
On hate
On grudges
On fear
We should live
A life that is filled with love
A life with a heart of forgiveness
A life that is lived fearless
Forgetting about the things
That we cannot fix
It shouldn’t have to take
The passing of someone special
To realize this
We should live life
Appreciating the people
Today before they go away
There are not many
Opportunities for second chances
So when they present
Themselves grab them
All while enjoying the lives
That we are blessed with

Our Blessings Blueprint

Just like building a house or building they require a blueprint so does our blessings. There are steps that we have to follow. A cake can’t be made with just a box of cake mix alone there are steps to follow in order to make it. Number one don’t talk about your blessings while your blessings are in process. Sometimes we can spoil our blessings by talking about them too soon. Or better yet we could give our blessings away by sharing our ideas. Each step works hand and hand to help our blessings to come to pass.

I pray that we all encounter our blessings that God has for us!

Pray About It

There is power in prayer. There has been so much that  I have been through prayer helped me out a lot. What I have learned is if God brings you to it He’ll bring you through it.

Daniel, Nehemiah, David, Paul and even Christ prayed. Yes at times tests come along that can make things difficult still we can’t forget about all the times God brought us through. God is not a part-time God He works overtime and we see His work over time. The devil send situations that can try to make us anxious but the Bible says not to be. Sometimes God allows things to happen right away and sometimes it takes time either way God is always on time.

A couple of things that we have to have for others is empathy and compassion. We shouldn’t be so quick to tell a person to just pray about something. Yes, it’s important to pray but  I don’t want to be a person who says “just pray about it” as a way to silence a person. You don’t want to come off as being dismissive. Remember God sent that person to you for a reason so never brush a person off by saying “just pray about it”. Allow a person to vent then we pray for them after we suggest praying about a situation. Perhaps God gave you something to say as way to show the person that everything is going to be okay. I can’t tell you the number of times when I was waiting for a sign from God and a person would come with a word that was confirmation.

All I want to do on my walk with Christ is grow. I know that I have a ways to go and I am no perfect. I will stubble at times but with the power of prayer  I will be fine. Having a relationship with Christ is worth everything that comes my way because I know that everything with be okay. Thank Father God for the gift of prayer.

Matthew 6:9-13

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

My Greatest Gifts

Merry Christmas to Everyone!!!

I’m not crying the blues; however, being a single parent is tough; that’s a reality. All  I want like most single parents is for my parenting skills to have the effects of a two parent home. I love my two sons with everything that  I have. When  I write papers in class, I always speak of how the ultimate gift of parenting is how your children turn out and how they choose to raise their children like how they were raised.

This year  I was blessed to be able to give my sons some great gifts still  I was going to talk like  I always do with my youngest son about Christmas. As  I have shared, my youngest has autism, so things have to be repeated a lot until he grasps it. I walked in the bedroom with my youngest, and he goes to Jesus the reason for the season. The tears just started to stream down my face even with his disability; he understands what Christmas is what an awesome gift that was for me to receive. I want to thank God every day I pray for the best for my sons; one of the things that  I want them to have the most is for them to have a relationship with Christ. I have instilled into my children that without Christ, we are nothing so never leave Him out of anything. It’s not Happy Holidays, Xmas; it’s Merry Christmas always, Christ is to be kept in everything always. When we allow God to lead our paths, we can’t go wrong, and things can only go right.

The second gift that  I received was a letter from my oldest son he wrote:

I love you mom

Merry Christmas mom your love is more powerful than a nuclear bomb. You’re better than the rest. You are a fighter and a great provider. You are so smart. You get A’s on your school work, and I am proud to call you my mom. I pray that you have lots of success because you deserve it. Merry Christmas mom I love you very much!

I want to thank Christ for all that He has done and what He continues to do. God is the reason why I made it this far in life and with raising my sons.

If it’s real

You know the deal

A recent studies shows a huge increase between black and white people since the 1980’s. What’s up with the change? Love is a wonderful thing truly. The internet is definitely making the world smaller and it helps people to broaden their horizons. There has been so many myths and bias pertaining to people of other races the internet shows different. People are using their voices and telling their own stories. Yaaaaaaay to interracial love!! The state of Hawaii is number one Aloha Ha Ha Ha !!! Hey now!! People all over the world (everybody) join hands start a love train love train!! I’m so excited can’t you tell it’s absolutely refreshing to see something positive pertaining to love. It seems like everyday when you turn on the news a disaster comes jumping out of the screen and we all know that’s there’s more to life than negativity. God wants us to enjoy life and love is one of the most beautiful things that He created. I love love seeing people in love! Join the love train what do you have to lose in my Donald Trump voice!

 

Beautiful Things

There are certain parts of the day that really get me to appreciate God’s wonder. How can anyone look at God’s many creations and Not appreciate them. Things like the Word of God, prayer, crisp Autumn breezes, sunsets, sunrises, blue skies, blue oceans, friends, family and true love. So many wonderful things our God is an awesome God. A sunset is so beautiful it gets a person to relax and think nothing about reflecting upon a bad day. God has given us some things to help us to enjoy our lives here. I just want to thank Him for taking the time to create all of the beautiful things that He did. God loved us that much to created things that helps us to relax and become inspired. Do you know how many poems that there are written about the things that I mentioned above? Priceless things that inspires us like forever.
