Dare To Dream

Don’t need a huge vocabulary

Many words have the same meaning

There’s no need to get all fancy

Just want to say that it’s

Okay to dream

As much as you want

God will make it happen

That’s what I was taught

Forget about what negative

People think

Make believe

Are the words of

The people who don’t

Want to see

It’s okay

Dare to dream

It may not happen

Over night

It may not

Happen at all

But at least

You know that

You tried right

Sometimes we start

In one direction

And wind up

On the opposite side

It may take that

For what is

Destined to be

Never be afraid

To Dream

It can become

A reality

But you have

To want it

So begin

Allow nothing to stop you

 

 

 

Would Not Change A Thing

I know that it maybe hard to believe

But out of my whole entire life

I wouldn’t change a thing

The highs

The lows

The people that I have come to know

And some I have let go

It was all apart of

What was suppose to be

At the time

When I was hurting

And was constantly praying

For the hurt to end

For my heart to mend

For the strength to

Not think of complaining

Even at the time

When it seemed as if

The troubles were doubling

God stepped in

He stopped my hurting

I’ve gain knowledge

So I have learned

That you can’t have

A testimony without the test

A message came from a mess

You can’t have the rainbow

Without the rain and the mud either

Things got me to see things clearly

Everything that has happened

Has molded me

Into a better person

So that’s why I say

Out of everything that has occurred

In my whole entire life

I would not change

Not one thing

 

The Christian Police

Have you ever heard of the fashion police? You know the people who grades people for what they wear and ticket them.Well that’s how I feel about some of the Super Christians who goes around behaving like the police. They ticket everyone else’s moves except their own. Yeah I said it! I’m never surprised when a secret of theirs is exposed. Look I know that I fall short we all do. Stop worrying about the people who are in the church, has a relationship with God and share their faults pray for them. These people are on their way to heaven God will help them to get there. Worry about the people who are on their way to hell they are the ones who needs the most help.

One of my Facebook friends had a hurtful post she wrote that some of the cruelest Not coolest are some of the people who calls themselves Christians. We have to do better. Souls are being lost and I don’t want to be the reason why someone goes to hell ever. It’s never okay for even one soul to be lost forever. That’s why I stay passionate about my walk with God and compassionate about others. I want everyone to make it to Heaven for us all to walk the streets of gold. I want to hear well done my faithful servant no others words hold so much meaning to me than those from God almighty. Oh what a blessing it would be.

Balance Is Key

Never forget the people who was there for you when you had no one. They are the ones who you will need again this is a true fact. God puts everyone in our lives for a reason so balancing your friends and new relationship is key. It’s important to keep in contact with your friends. You never want it to come off as you only contact them when there is a problem. Friendship is a two way street if you don’t have time to talk a simple text is fine too anything to show a person that you are thinking about them. I get that life gets busy but if we really want to time can be taken out it’s all about priorities. One has to have the want to to do. Yeah I said it.

Relationships and marriages are completely different don’t get it twisted people can walk away from a relationship not so for a marriage. I am not saying not to give a relationship your all. After all relationships has to happen prior to marriage so I get it. What I am saying is don’t forget the people who will be there if the relationship goes wrong. As far as I am concerned best friends are not friends they are family. Family is for life through ups and downs as well as thick and thin. Proverbs 18:24

A man [that hath] friends must shew himself: and there is a friend [that] stickers closer than a brother.

 

Give It Your All

Pep Talk it’s time for a pep talk. Congratulations!!! God blessed you to find that special someone who you got into a relationship that lead to marriage. The goal with a marriage is longevity. Once you get married the marriage takes nurturing never get too busy that you can’t. A marriage can not work itself it requires help from both people. The worse thing that can begin to happen is to develop an ego of what you want to do and will not do. Let me tell you get a clue there should be nothing that you would not do for your spouse unless it’s something that’s not of God. Still if God is in it than chance are you are being stubborn and you shouldn’t. A husband is a king and a wife is a queen so they should be treated like royalty. Don’t be ashamed to treat them this way. Do whatever it takes to make your marriage great.

Online Dating and Christians

The Bible says Proverbs 18:22

Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.

Online dating is another way to be able to cast your net far an wide to reach your ideal mate. Still we didn’t have the internet years ago and many people still found their true love. Which clearly shows that God is in control it’s best to consult Him always. Back to the scripture should a woman try online dating that would be considered looking right? Still on the other hand how can a woman be found if she’s not getting out to be found? Ruth traveled and found Boaz although finding love wasn’t her reason for moving everything just fail into place when she did.This subject has many questions to explore and everyone should know by now that I am ready to find the answer. And I’m definitely open for a debate not on the Word of God that’s not what I do. I do believe in trusting God and He will guide us to do what’s best.

If It Isn’t What God Knows Then Let It Go

Our eyes and ears are windows to our souls therefore it’s important to not allow things that don’t help us in. We all have been guilty of caring too much about what others think it’s something that’s hard to master. All is takes is loving ourselves enough not to allow a person negative words to bring us down. For me there is only one person who I care what is thought of me and that’s God as well as my children. I refuse to have anything or anyone to ruin my day. They can go somewhere else with that. Refuse to sweat the small stuff because that what negativity is.

What Is Most Important?

Everyone is different so everyone seek different things when it comes to a potential mate. What they seek separates us from who’s right for us and who’s not. I believe that there is somebody for everybody because God made it so. I was watching an interview pertaining to relationships and  people’s choices in a mate. It was quite interesting. To me nobody knows everything but everybody knows something that we can learn from. We just have to be open to learning. Anyway on with the story there was a lady speaking saying that she cares about what a man has to offer financially. She mentioned nothing else accept the man being really tall. I found that to be very disturbing though it shouldn’t have. Most people care about money men and women. My question is what happens when the person can not provide or they get sick. The world is filled with selfish people. Don’t get me wrong I want to live comfortable too. Comfortable for me are my bills being paid, a nice place to live it could be an apartment, townhouse etc it doesn’t have to be a mansion. You get where I’m  coming from and I mean what I am saying. Some people care about looks and that’s fine. It’s just isn’t good to care too much about things that don’t matter very much. They change over time eventually.

For me I want my Boaz to be smart, kind hearted, respectful, loyal a natural born leader someone I can trust. These things are actually pretty hard to find. I’m a leader but a woman is not suppose to lead it’s  a man place. Being a true leader is knowing how to be a great follower. Of course no leader will allow just anyone to lead them. It’s like giving a person a map that they can not read that’s definitely setting yourself up for failure. You’ll be stranded in the middle of nowhere fast. I love Courage the Cowardly Dog but nowhere doesn’t look like a cool place to live. I’m not glutton for punishment. At my age I am realistic, I have sons therefore I don’t expect to find a man my age without children. That’s just a selfish mentality. To be honest I really don’t have everything down to an exact science of what I  am  looking for in my Boaz. Not looking in the first place God has the situation covered already. I do know that I want the love of the old couples who fought for their love. Everyone wants to learn from them a true romance story.
