One Step Closer

Another course down as time flies by I inch closer to reaching my goal of receiving my bachelor’s degree and later my master’s degree. Cross Cultural psychology was so interesting the course made me more open minded definitely.I’m thanking God constantly with Him I will be successful. Claiming it. Claiming it. I was extremely excited when I received a A on my report. The report had to be seven pages long psychology consistent of a lot writing it definitely exercises the skills of language, strategy, focus and time management. So proud of myself and I pray for everyone who has a mission that they want to complete. It will be done. With God on our sides we can all accomplish much this I believe truly. There are other things that I want to do too. The Bible says to write it down and make it plain. I have done what the Bible has said and everything has come to pass.

Habakkuk 2:2

And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

One of the best decisions that I made in my life was to follow God and to allow Him to be in my life.

The 90s was the end of a great music era. The whole ten years of the 90s ruled. In 1995 Duncan Sheik made his debut the first single off the album for called Barely Breathing. A Christian’s Walk

I’d like to compare things as way for people to understand what I mean. A person who considers themselves to be a  seasoned Christian should not have bland ways. Our Christian walk should have a kick to it because we have graduated from certain things. A Christian should have learned from things from their past and therefore should no longer be doing them. I mean after all isn’t the whole reason a person becomes a Christian is to change from the old person that they once were? Yes no one is perfect but we should have mastered not to be doing certain things like gossiping, putting down others, having children out of wedlock, cursing, not wanting the for others, negative thoughts and actions etc. Let me say this my intentions are to never put people down but when a person says they are a Christian one should not be a reflection of what the world is doing. This is the reason why some people don’t take Christianity seriously because some of the people who calls themselves Christians don’t either. There comes a time when we change and don’t use the fact that we are humans as an excuse or being saved by God’s Grace. I mean for goodness sakes it’s time to own the wrong that we do that’s the only way that we can truly change. We have to give everything to God all of our faults I know that change won’t always happen overnight. I do believe that God can change anyone if we allow Him to and if that is what we truly want.

Every time we as Christians cross the path of another person we want to do our best at showing them that there are good people in the world. It’s not very hard to do all we have to do is ask God for help He will guide us. This is a crucial time right now the world is becoming quite a hard place to in live. I just want to be a bright light anywhere that I can it’s needed. I want my walk to taste spicy because I am on fire for God not bland like hospital food. Hospital food taste can never be adjusted and no one who eats it enjoys it. Much like how God doesn’t like lukewarm people He does not like it. Besides I never want to be the reason why a person turns away from Christ. Yes I agree people should have their eyes focused on Christ and not us. Still we know that when we say that we are Christians people will be watching that’s automatic it comes with the territory. It is what it is. I want to be pleasing to God it’s all that I want to do. I want to hear well done you can come on in!!!! What a blessing and honor that will be!!! It’s about walking the walk and talking the talk not crying about it just do it like Nike!!

Trading Places

This week’s class assignment got my brain to hatch an idea. My assignment was to write a paper about collectivist and individualist parents how they differ and what would it be like if they were to switch children. Would their parenting skills influence them enough to make changes? So it got me to thinking and evaluating my lifestyle as a Christian. If I were to swap my life with a person who doesn’t know Christ would my Christian lifestyle change them. I know that I would not want to live their lifestyle I have been there before. It definitely should make one think. God wants everyone’s soul to be saved. He doesn’t want not one of us to perish. We have all heard the saying that we maybe the only Bible that a person reads and it may cause some pressure for some people. If we’re living according to God’s will one should not mind others watching them as an inspiration not as an idol. Now I feel that people shouldn’t focus only on me or any other Christians but the one who we look to which is Christ. All Christians want to be pleasing to Him.

If a person were to swap lives with me I liked to hope and pray that it would inspire them to turn to Christ. There are many testimonies that I have and that alone should be a huge inspiration. My mother grew up in Christian home her church was right next door. She was very active in her church things like being in the choir and writing church bulletins. When she became an adult she kept being a Christian and passed on her  parenting to skills to her children. I am doing the same things prayers day and night most importantly teaching my sons to have a strong relationship with God. One important thing that I have learned that having a relationship with God must be all of the time. The devil doesn’t take time off to attack us. It isn’t about the devil anyway it’s about God’s love for us that in itself should make the hardest heart soften for Him.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Second Time Around

When you can look back at past mistakes and own up to your choices it says a lot about your work with Christ. Our God is awesome. I can’t wait to see what He has in store for me!

God’s Creations

Hey Everyone Blessings!!

One of classes that I am taking is called Cross-Cultural Psychology this week’s assignment was to choose a country to write about it’s culture and how are their emotions. I chose to write about Italy. I also had to compare it to the culture of the United States what a huge difference that there are. There is so much that I learned about Italy that I didn’t know like it’s a little larger than the state of Arizona but has ten times the population. How Italy has only been a country for 153 years. I learned how important family is to Italians not just immediate but extended too. How most Italians children don’t leave home until they are 30 and even though they are gone their mothers still cooks for them. Or how they talk with their hands and doesn’t hold feelings in. Practically every place in Italy holds some type of significance.  Vernice is my favorite place it’s the most beautiful and romantic place in the whole world.

My class got me to thinking about the beautiful things that God has blessed us with and the gifts that helps us to create more. I love all the beautiful things that we have here on earth and the things that we are blessed to experience. How God took so much care with all that He created including each one of us. God loves is everywhere all we have to do is take a look around. It blows my mind and gives my heart so much joy thinking about the goodness of the Lord. I’m so glad that I know Him and so very thankful for all that He does. I thank God for waking me up. I thank God for my children. I thank God for my family immediate and extended. I thank God for my friends. I thank God for every experience good or bad and the ones that made me happy or sad. For every blessing that I have ever had I am glad. Father God thank You!

 

Thank You Jesus

As I have shared I have started back to college and I cannot believe that I am done with my first course already. The start was rocky but with God’s help I kept pushing. I have come up with ways to stay focused. I’m super excited. I received an A. This is a giant step of a life changing  journey. I know that I could not have done it by myself. When I think of all the many times that God has brought me through I simply cannot thank Him enough. If I had a million tongues and  hands it still wouldn’t be enough to thank Him or Praise Him. I’m thankful that He can look into my heart. I just want to Thank You Jesus!

Breaking My Heart

Three police officers were murdered this is just so heartbreaking. Being a police officer is a tough job. They risk their lives for people some don’t care.Prayers are going up for the officers and their families. The violence must stop. Father God please step in and bring more peace into this world.

I wrote a report on bias for class. The media has an huge influence on society. So quick to put out stories and people make quick decisions with part of a story. How many police officers are there thousands most are doing their jobs and that’s something that everyone needs to think about.

Beautiful Things

There are certain parts of the day that really get me to appreciate God’s wonder. How can anyone look at God’s many creations and Not appreciate them. Things like the Word of God, prayer, crisp Autumn breezes, sunsets, sunrises, blue skies, blue oceans, friends, family and true love. So many wonderful things our God is an awesome God. A sunset is so beautiful it gets a person to relax and think nothing about reflecting upon a bad day. God has given us some things to help us to enjoy our lives here. I just want to thank Him for taking the time to create all of the beautiful things that He did. God loved us that much to created things that helps us to relax and become inspired. Do you know how many poems that there are written about the things that I mentioned above? Priceless things that inspires us like forever. Thank You Father God for blessing us to enjoy all of this beauty. Father God Father Your Are Magnificent.
