Not Your Cup Of Tea

No matter whatever it is that you choose to do there is always going to be somebody somewhere who wants to behave like an English teacher ready to correct you with their red ballpoint pen. I came into blogging with a thick layer of skin. Writing is something that I have always loved to do. The more that I write the more comfortable that I get. It’s funny when I write I will proofread it several times prior to posting it and somehow I miss an error oh well I will get better.

Really not worry about people who wants to behave like seventh grade students that are dissecting a frog trying to figure out what’s going on inside of me. Everyone will not be a fan of mine and that’s alright by me. It’s like speaking a language that they cannot understand perhaps they’re not meant to. Constantly I keep myself inspired when I think of people like Dr.Seuss and Walt Disney they were rejected too.I think of Donald Trump although I am not a huge fan of his I do respect a person who says what’s on their mind. Trump has a lot of supporters and critics as well. As I have always said if you don’t have people judging you aren’t being true so I guess I’m on the right track. Forget not being someone’s cup of tea that’s too weak I’m not everyone’s cup of coffee because I am too strong. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Proud Of My Old Fashioned Ways

That’s riiiiiight Maury you won’t catch me running off of your stage. It never fails a woman comes on Maury claiming that they are one million percent sure that a certain man is the father of their child. Maury reads the result( You Are Not The Father) and the woman runs. Question ??! Where are they running to? Their face has been on national TV.

Nothing is more disturbing to me than the way people’s minds operates now a days. I wish people would lose the equal opportunity mindset it shouldn’t apply to everything. I am very proud of my old fashioned thinking and would not change a thing. Nothing is more upsetting to me than a woman who has no idea of who the father is of her children are. Sometimes they have to choose between up to ten men. They were being intimate with that many men within a short period of time. The problem is women who feel that they can behave as a man does. Some women needs to stop using certain men as an excuse for carrying themselves like a hefty trash bag that’s a wimpy cop out. Yeah I said it.

Growing up my mother would give us various scenarios of how society was when it came to the standards of women and men. She once said that a woman and a man could make out on the ground in front of people. The man could get up when it’s done and still be looked at as a man unfortunately it doesn’t apply to the woman she’ll be known as every name in the book. That’s just one of the many lessons that I was taught by mother. Let’s not forget about mama’s baby papa’s maybe that saying has been around forever. That’s just the way that it is.

A woman should never have her mind made up that she’s doing her and a child comes out of it. A woman should carry herself like a lady at all times. There should be no competition going on when it comes to acting in a degrading way. Morals should be a thing that’s kept in tack the children are watching. People can joke me all they want call being old fashioned whack but remember some fashion never goes out of style. Believe that!

 

 

Don’t Suffer In Silence

Addiction is something that goes beyond drugs, alcohol and pornography it can be food, sex and social media. Whatever the problem is the first step is admitting that you have a problem. Denial about a problem only prolongs the situation. When you accept the problem seek help from God and confide in someone that you trust. Please do not suffer in silence.

When you don’t get help that is when the evil one strikes with his lies because he is the father of them. He’ll tell you that you are a hypocrite, that you are worthless, that no one cares about you and that you can’t beat your addiction. The way to beat him is to forget all of his lies and remember the promises that God told you.

God didn’t put us here to suffer. He wants us to thrive. Overcome addiction it not only affects you but everyone that’s around you. Family and friends don’t want to see you hurt. Definitely get healed to help yourself still there are many who truly care some you may have no idea about.

God knew you before you were born there’s nothing that He doesn’t know. And there’s no problem that He can not solve. You can win but you can’t quit. Everyone has a battle they maybe different still a fight is required. Stay prayed up. Stay focused. You can do this.

 

Speak Out Against Domestic Violence

It’s a television show that I watch that’s called Snapped. The show is about women who kill men. Majority of the time when these women goes to trial they claim that they were victims of domestic abuse. Understand I am no way saying that murder is okay and neither is abuse. The result always end the same every time the women are convicted mostly because when the police interview the couples family and friends no one saw any evidence of violence. Plus it doesn’t help that people have an misconception of what domestic violence looks like actually it’s a obvious thing that’s well kept hidden. Many people who are abused are ashamed to tell anyone what’s going on they always live in constant fear of their lives and their children’s lives as well.

Talking about Oscar winning performance an abuser can put on a show. No one suspects anything at all people on the outside think things are perfect. Not to mention how hard it is for the one who’s being abused hearing the abuser tell them that they are sorry, them buying things and promising to never hurt them again only to do it.

One of my first post is called Stay or Go as I have shared I had an abusive father and so was my ex the father of our sons. We have to educate ourselves on domestic abuse it can happen to anyone believe me I know from experience. It’s important to know what to look for here are a few:

1. The person who is being a abused attitude will completely change they will be unhappy and withdrawn.

2. The person who is being a abused will move far away and distance themselves from others.

3. Their children will be unhappy as well.

There are many more signs still what’s most important is if you suspect that someone ( men are victims too)that care about is being abused keep the line of communication open. If you find proof seek help you could save a life not just the one who is being abused but the abuser too. We must shed a light on domestic violence and the person who is being abused must speak up and speak out.

Homelessness

People have a misconception about homelessness it could happen to anyone. That’s right no one is exempt. There are people who are living from paycheck to paycheck all it takes is a loss of  theirjob. There are various reasons that people become homeless and it’s not always drug related sometimes it’s from domestic violence, mental illness etc. There’s a lady who I follow on YouTube Tonya TKO she moved across the country and is now living from out of her car. She finally broke down and ask people for help I know that it took a lot of her pride to do that. She has many people who don’t believe that she is really homeless it has alot to do with what many thing that homelessness looks like.

There are whole entire families that are homeless with nowhere to turn or no one to turn to.Every life has a story so it’s important to not jump the gun.I remembered on my walks in the morning I would see a homeless man sleeping on the bench wrapped up. Sometimes I would give him money no he’s not a lazy person he was once in the military so he’s a veteran. It’s easier to assume the worst about people to keep from feeling sorry for them that way their warped minds can help their hearts to become hard like stone. Let’s say a prayer for the homeless and the people who are not far from it.

We’re Just Friends

Is it possible?  Can a man and a woman be just friends only? This applies to straight people. Yes we all realize how important friendship is it should be the foundation of a relationship. There’s more to a relationship than the basic things we have to be able to get along with our mate. What I am talking about is not a relationship just friendship can it happen without it developing into more.  Definitely  not speaking of being friends after a relationship that has ended it’s rare that a friendship works out.We’re not suppose to be in a relationship with everyone. Friendship if it’s true last a lot longer than some relationships and marriages. People who enter our lives have different assignments this must be kept in mind.

Can a woman and man enjoy the same things like football, same music, movies, TV shows and hobbies?  Most men and women who are friends only have had some sort of sexual contact at least once. Or wonder what it would be like to cross the line however the thing about crossing a line there is no turning back. Curiosity should not overpower ruining a great friendship how much do you value it. Friends true ones anyway are hard to find so when you’re blessed with them do what it takes to keep them. That means not placing a friendship in jeopardy regardless of the person’s  sex. I  don’t know about anyone else but I rather have a lasting friendship over most things any day.

Poetry

I would absolutely love to have the talent of Maya Angelou, Emily Dickinson and William Shakespeare to name a few. Growing up I always enjoyed writing my mother inspired me she wrote things for her church when she was young. For me writing is a way to express all of my feelings and poetry helps me to do it in a creative way. Someone asked me what type of writing style do I have that was an excellent question too I guess that I never really thought about it. My poetry style could probably be more of a sonnet. I pretty much write about everything. So loving the month of April it is national poetry month everyday I write hoping to become better with each word. I have notebooks all over the place. Working on a couple of poems right now stay tuned I will be sharing them very soon.

What I Have Learned

I decided to start a blog and I have done some audio as well. This is my first time ever doing these things. Just wanted to do something different add some more coolness to my life’s resume while inspiring as many people as I can.With starting anything new you will have people being positive and people being negative. I am not going to say embrace positive words only we have to be open to constructive criticism. The more that we know the more we grow.  Anything different people have to adjust to it but we can’t allow it to let go of what we are passionate about.

We must be selective of how much that we choose to take in. Too much negative words isn’t good either. We may have to resort to treating people who are always negative like static in a radio just straighten the antenna to hear what we need to hear crystal clear.

Blog- a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style.

Blogging is something that caught my eye I enjoy writing and sharing my views. How much of anyone’s opinion do I need? I’ll answer the question. It’s none. However  anyone whom I trust truly opinion I value so I will listen. I do want my blog to grow  and it will eventually. What I am going to do is continue what I am doing as well as a whole lot more. I’m proud of my blog and I’m not planning on stopping anytime soon.
