Growing up it was my dream to become a vj on MTV or a dj on a radio station I can not express it enough I love music. Every type of music there is I have love for. Loving the fact of having this blog so I can get the chance to share some of my favorite songs. Listening to music is something that I do daily I have a passion for it. And I find it cool when I come across another people who appreciates music the way that I do. I mean really love it and can prove it by being able to back up what they say with knowledge. For me I know that somewhere down the line I’ll be able to do something in the music field on my own and that would be a dream come true.

What Has Happened To Hip Hop?
As I have shared I listen to everything so that includes hip hop too. Not the hip hop of today though I don’t know what the heck has happened I just find that today’s hip hop is very disappointing and disturbing as well. Gone are the days of the hip hop that I listened to KRS One, Eric B. and Rakim, 3rd Bass, LL Cool J I could go on and on. It is not just about today’s hip hop it’s the culture that is tied to it nothing but negativity especially towards black females. I screen everything that my sons listen to and it’s a shame musicians don’t want to be held accountable for nothing except for endorsements. So sad I will never forget the words that 2Pac spoke during an interview he said “Hold us accountable for what we say”
I don’t know about anyone else but I’ll take old school hip hop any day there’s nothing like it. The new hip hop is headed for self destruction and that’s fine just don’t take the kids with it.
