Racist Boyfriend?

Yesterday was a crazy day for me. On Facebook, I’m in a couple of swirl groups. I swear the people who allow people into the groups should make sure that they are screened more thoroughly. I think that some are black men hiding behind a fake profile picture.

There was a question asked in the group. The question was, can a white man date a black woman and be racist? Here we go going through the same thing. Here we go again!

It’s always someone who is trying to scare black women from being open-minded about who she wants to date. The question opened up a sea of emotions. This person caused hysteria with this one question it opened up all kinds of what ifs. Some of the women started to speak of some white men possibly having fetishes but that doesn’t bother me here’s why:
fet·ish
ˈfediSH/Submit
noun
1.
A form of sexual desire in which gratification is linked to an abnormal degree to a particular object, item of clothing, part of the body, etc.
“Victorian men developed fetishes focusing on feet, shoes, and boots.”

Most black men love black women’s butts!!!! Trust me on this; I’m just saying.

The question made some of the white men in the group feel uncomfortable, and I didn’t blame them. It had some people questioning white men’s motives for dating black women — just a bunch of foolishness. We should be allowed to date who we choose without people trying to destroy it, and it was a black woman doing it.

Some black men have wasted years that should have been spent on developing a career or getting a degree and instead have accumulated baggage like children with different women, out of wedlock, of course. The 77% out of wedlock birth rate proves this. Let’s not get me started on the IBM they aren’t marrying anyone, but they are open to multiple women trying out for a position that they aren’t thinking about. The fact is there is a shortage of quality black men, and the solution is to date out.

We can’t live in fear of what could happen. Are there racist white men that a black woman could come across? Sure. Just like a black woman could come across a black man who’s abusive, disrespectful, and a cheater. The chances of a racist white guy dating a black woman are slim to none. That’s facts.

Look every time we take a chance at love there is a possibility that a bad thing could happen and good things can happen too. Still, good things can’t happen if we aren’t open to the opportunity! The right man for us may not look like what we expect. Expectations and assumptions only help us to miss out because they are always wrong. I refuse to live in fear. If there is a black woman, who fears dating white men because of the chance that they may be racist, there is an excellent solution for that don’t swirl. It’s just that simple.

Does Every Kiss Really Begin With Kay ?

Tis the season of engagements, Christmas is the time of year when people make it official the most. I have a post about love being more valuable than a ring. I also believe that it’s the thought that counts as well. If a millionaire gave a person a 20.00 engagement ring, would the person still receive a kiss? The other day I posted about how some black people attack others behind their opinions, and this situation isn’t any different. There was a lady on Facebook who made a video about the possible reason for all the recent engagements. Kay Jewelers has a sale of rings and earrings for 19.99. The lady said that she noticed a lot of women getting in engaged with these rings for 19.99. Maannn!!! This lady’s video has gone viral, and she’s a black lady by the way. The video has thousands of comments which many are abusive name calling and shaming this lady behind her opinion. It’s comical to me because I guarantee that the very people who claim that the price of a ring doesn’t matter would act entirely different if they were in that position. If a guy has on Jordan’s and owns an iPhone X or a Samsung Galaxy S8 and proposed with a 19.99 ring? Would they say yes? Somebody ain’t being truthful. The high divorce rates and low marriages rates within the black community say so.

For the record, I think the jewelry looks very pretty. I believe love is more important than a ring; material things come and go. There have been families who have lost all their valuables in a fire or flood. My point is how the woman who made a video about her opinion went viral with over a million views. People are giving her all this attention to be mean to her, and it isn’t right. Differences of opinion are just Not accepted, and they are welcomed with insults. I wouldn’t be surprised or doubt it if I’m being bashed somewhere behind expressing my opinions and experiences. A group is trashing me. But that’s only supporting what I am saying. Yeah, I said it!!!!

The Aftermath

A person can tell what I stand for just by reading my blog and that’s for Jesus Christ. As Americans we have the right to vote and regardless of what anyone says or feels the outcome is clear Trump is the president-elect. Every election things flip flops a democrat is placed into the White House then a republican that’s what makes this country great we have the luxury of enforcing change by our say so, which is by our vote.

People are protesting and really there’s nothing that can be done. Trump won and that’s that. We have to respect what has happened. Being a Christian my faith is in Jesus Christ and not man. Worrying, being negative and angry will do nothing at all it solves nothing. What people have to understand is that just because a person voted for Trump doesn’t make them racist it makes them a republican. News flash the people who voted for Trump wasn’t white only but every color so the hateful comments most cease. I have Facebook friends of every race and some of them are Trump supporters. I am not getting salty behind someone else’s choice it’s their right. Question how do people know who voted for Trump unless they say it and apparently regardless of his lack of experience amongst other things didn’t change the outcome. So how do we handle the aftermath of the election? We respect the results and give Trump a chance if he doesn’t do well in four years return back to the polls and allow your voice to be heard just like what happened this time.

I’m praying for our nation that everyone goes forward with an opened mind and open heart. This land is your land this land is my land let’s do the best that we can. Together we stand divided we fall and we will all feel it. I will continue to put my faith in God who’s in control of America and beyond. God is in control of you and me one day we all will see it. Believe that! I don’t have to see God to know who’s really in charge even though He’s shown His power through events in my life several times. Everything will be alright we all just have to believe it the first step is acceptance that will help things to smooth over in a positive way. Blessings to all.

Three Things That I Wished That I Had Known About Social Media

Social media is not self explanatory there is so much to it than what meets the eye. I miss the good ole days before the internet don’t get me wrong the internet is a great invention. It’s just sad how it gets abused. If one isn’t careful it can swallow up a person’s life whole. Many lives are impacted by social media there is zero privacy and things gets made up. Whenever I am watching any television show somehow the subject of social media comes into play. It’s so and so contacted me on Facebook one can expect drama it’s a guarantee. It’s cause a lot of break ups as well I have known people who gave it up to save their marriages.

For me I am friendly I see the good in everyone which isn’t the best mindset to have on social media you will get burned. I learned that lesson besides not becoming friends or following certain people simply because our eyes and ears are windows to our souls it’s important to not allow yourself to become open to the wrong kinds of vibes. Social media is the number one reason that I started a blog and for that I am thankful. A few months ago God spoke to me and told me to give all my social accounts up expect for Facebook. When I did that it was one of the greatest things that I had ever done.

What I don’t like the must is the promotion of negativity that’s real poison. People fighting, kids fighting so much violence it’s quite sad. People arguing on social media as well .Of course there are people judging about others being negative and I’m like wasn’t you the one who was cursing earlier. Oh the headaches I will just keep this blog short and take a couple of Tylenol.

Three things that I wish that I had of known out before getting onto social media is the drama, the negativity and probably not even getting into it in the first place. That way it’s less headaches the saddest thing is the people who invented social media had positive things in mind. I’m just going to stick mostly to my blogging and pop in and out of Facebook until I give it up completely. Wah Wah Wah Wah!!!!
