That wasn’t always easy

For me to say

I’ve had my

Good and bad days

Good and bad years

Still through all the tears

I let go of my fears

All of the pain

It helped my mindset

To change

Especially when it

Comes to love

I know that I have

A good heart

I’ve have learned

That I am not alone

That realization

In itself

Is inspiration to

Not give up

On love

And being open to

Having the right one

I believe truly that it’s you

You are the one for me

So I am telling you this today

To please do not walk away

Forget about the sadness of yesterday

I mean the words that I say

Or betray you
